  • Haslemere's Walking Festival

Ambler or Rambler – there is a walk here for you!

Haslemere will once again be hosting the Walking Festival and will be offering a collection of varied and rewarding walks for all ages and abilities. This year the programme of walks will take place from Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October and whether you are a serious rambler or a gentle ambler it really does offer something for everyone.

Inspired by becoming a Walkers are Welcome town – a nationwide initiative to encourage more walkers and visitors into communities across the country, the festival, which is funded by Haslemere Town Council, offers a wonderful opportunity for children and adults to learn about Haslemere's wildlife and fascinating history, while at the same time enjoy the stunning walking areas both within this lovely market town and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

All walks are FREE to attend and are led by knowledgeable walks leaders to guide people along the route with some designed for families. Booking for all walks is essential and numbers are limited so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. For bookings email
