Haslemere Town Council holds six Full Council meetings a year to which members of the public are welcome to attend. Click here to see the schedule of meetings 2017-2018. 

At Full Council, the committees and sub-committees report their minutes and recommendations to be ratified.  Councillors may also report to Council any updates from the organisations where they represent the Town Council.

The six scheduled Full Council meetings take place in:

  • January
  • March
  • May - This is the annual Council meeting at which a new Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected and memberships of committees and representatives on outside bodies are agreed
  • July
  • September
  • November

In addition to Full Council there are five committees; Amenities, Finance & Audit, Planning & Highways, Staffing and Grants.

The Amenities, Planning & Highways, Finance & Audit and Grants Committees are all open to the public.  The Staffing Committee is held in exempt due to the confidential nature of the issues discussed.
