Role:Councillor Ward:Critchmere Committees & External Bodies:Full Council, Grants Ged was born in Chester in 1970, the youngest son of a local builder; He is married with three children and has lived in Haslemere for 15 years; educated at the University of Greenwich and later Edinburgh Business School, Ged holds two masters degrees and works as a Finance and Strategy consultant in London.
Ged is the deputy chairman of the Haslemere Rugby Club, Treasurer of the Royal British Legion in Haslemere and a serving councillor for Haslemere Town Council where he became the Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee and was tasked with upgrading and improving the council’s service delivery. Ged's key interests are Health Care, value for money public service delivery, education and increasing the provision of local Sporting Facilities. Ged was re-elected to serve Critchmere in the 2015 local elections. |
